In essence, Backbreaker was marketed more as an arcade-style game but the players who enjoyed it most were the people who persevered to the end of the curve, and emerged on the other side, able to appreciate the challenges it provided.

The reviews were generally negative in the early days, but they were also not straightforward as some reviews had positive things to review the buy mut coins game.
